The Fatima Health Center provides a wide array of health
care services for women and children. We offer convenient
hours of operation and location and we accept all forms of
insurance. We serve more than 30.000 patients annually and
we speak Spanish, Portuguese and Creole.

Care for Moms and Children
Pediatric
Clinic
The Pediatric Clinic provides primary care services for children
from birth through adolescence.
The center is affiliated with St. Joseph Center for Health
and Human Services in Providence.
Patients under age 18 are required to be accompanied by a
parent or legal guardian for medical care and immunizations.
Services include:
- Well visits and check ups
- Sick visits
- Care for chronic illnesses, including asthma and diabetes
- Immunizations
- Vision and hearing screenings
- Health and nutrition education
Patricia Kao, M.D. is on staff at St. Joseph Health
Services of RI (Fatima Hospital) and Hasbro Children's Hospital.
She is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and received her medical degree from Stanford University School
of Medicine. She completed her residency at Boston Children's
Hospital and Boston Medical Center. She has a special concentration
in pediatric behavioral health issues.
Robert Trivett, MD is on staff at St. Joseph Health
Services of RI (Fatima Hospital) and Hasbro Children's Hospital.
He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and received his medical
degree from Medical College of Virginia. He is a graduate
of Virginia Tech and received his medical degree from Medical
College of Virginia. He completed his residency at Children's
Hospital of Philadelphia.

The
Pediatric Dental Clinic
The Pediatric Dental Center provides exceptional oral health
care in a caring, compassionate environment. We understand
that poor oral health can hurt children's performance in school
and damage their self confidence. These are problems that
we can help solve.
The Pediatric Dental Clinic accepts patients from the age
of birth to 18 years old.
We provide a full range of preventive and restorative dental
services, including:
- Cleanings
- Sealants
- X-rays
- Fillings
- Extractions
In partnership with our Providence Pediatric Dental Center,
we are able to offer care for children with complex dental
needs and oral surgery under general anesthesia, provided
at Our lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. In addition
to dental care, patients and parents are educated on preventive
measures and oral health hygiene.

Prenatal/Women's
Health
Fatima Health Center offers a wide range of services for
Women's Health needs. The center is affiliated with St. Joseph
Center for Health and Human Services in Providence.
Our board-certified physician, nurse practitioner and experienced
nurses offer:
- Pregnancy testing
- Prenatal care
- Family Services counseling
- GYN exams
- Up to date GYN procedures
- Specialty referrals
- STD testing
If you are over 40 years old, a resident of Rhode Island,
without health insurance and meet financial eligibility, you
are eligible for a free GYN exam, PAP smear and mammogram
through the RI Department of Health Women's Cancer Screening
Program.
Deborah Hayden, MD is on staff at St. Joseph Health
Services of RI (Fatima Hospital) and Women & Infants'
Hospital. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received
her medical degree from Duke University Medical School. She
completed her residency at Bay State Medical Center, Springfield,
MA.
Lynda Clancy, Nurse Practitioner is a graduate of
Framingham State College and received her masters degree from
Boston College and is nationally certified as a Women's Health
Nurse Practitioner.
